Bend-Sofa

Patricia Urquiola came up with the name "Bend", also the English word for "curve", to underscore the particular movement of this product, the quality of which can be guaranteed only by an industrial process. The irregular shape enhances comfort, the contrasting seams define the design and movement. A product with a great personality that can be used to produce original and alternative seating solutions that are outside traditional canons. Freshness, colour, liveliness, composition freedom and soft lines all emerge from the communication of Bend-Sofa. The interior of preformed polyurethane foam ensures high seating comfort and long dimensional stability. The collection is available in all exclusive fabrics and leathers from B&B Italia.

Patricia Urquiola

Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola is one of the most famous female designers of our time. Her designs are functional, playful, sensual and almost always inspired by everyday life. Patricia Urquiola studied architecture at the Polytechnic Institute in Madrid and later in Milan, where she graduated in 1989. Achille Castiglioni, her mentor at the Politecnico di Milano, taught her passion for design. Her playful but homely designs are also included in the collections of B&B Italia, Agape, Kettal, Flos, Foscarini, Kartell, Molteni and Alessi, among others.
